Stephen is a lecturer in Communications and Debating Coach at the University of Vermont. He graduated from University College Dublin with a first class honours Masters in European Economic and Public Affairs and completed a B.A. in English and History. In his current role, Stephen was awarded 'Coach of the Year' for the North Eastern US, and coached one of only three US Universities to reach the elimination rounds of the World Debating Championships. He has also taught workshops around the world, including China, Ireland, America, Serbia and Slovenia. Stephen is a former winner of the
Irish Times debating competition, served on the Governing Authority of University College Dublin and has been published in several leading Irish publications as a photographer.
