A couple of edits

Upper Yosemite Falls from Swinging Bridge

Hetch Hetchy (don't drain the resevoir!!!!!)

Sorry about the complete lack of posts lately, I've been working insane hours. Lately I've been working on trying to blend to edits of the same picture in order to preserve more of the detail. So in the one of the bridge here, the original shot that I had, had the whole area of water completely white, which looked awful. However with a few simple edits, you can bring back a bit of the detail. These are both from Yosemite last summer.

Ruairi Quinn

To continue the electoral theme, here's a couple of pictures of Ruairi Quinn from the recent L&H challenge as part of the ''goodbye to the terrace'' series of events in UCD. He gave a brilliant speech, recollecting his time in the L&H, and what the experience had given to him.

During the speech

Something to do with Thomism...

it's a montage...!

Playing around in a last ditch effort to avoid studying. Some political figures past, present (for a couple of days at least!) and potentially future.

Pretentious editing for the hell of it...

Gregg, levels and charcoal effect.

Connie with diffuse glow, slightly boosted red channel.

Tiernan, gaussian blur in background, lowered colour, levels tweak and some pastelle type effect thing.

A few from the Galway IV, I was bored (read: not doing the work I should have been doing), so decided to play around in photoshop!
